Leila has been creating fiber art for as long as she can remember. Leila learned to knit and crochet as a child from her parents. She was introduced to the art of weaving and built a small table loom while living at Holden Village in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. Since that time she has taken many classes and workshops to further her knowledge and skill of weaving, including classes at The Looms in Mineral Point, WI, Siever’s School of Fiber Arts in Door County, WI, and The Grunewald Guild in Leavenworth, WA.
